Hm... I wonder how the Google's "Be Good" motto works. Considering that everything one does on Google applications is tracked so that there is a whole electronic surfing history saved on one of Google's mighty supercomputers. Down to the most insignificant thing. I wonder ... like Global Warming, possibly this is also something people will take seriously only when it's too late. There will be small indications of the intrusion Levels Elevating...the Heat will rise, affecting only a fringe of the population initially. People talking, and talking and talking about doing something to avert the Ominous Future. And then, who knows?
Maybe there'll be some kind of a Worldwide Deluge of Information...and a Noah's ark will come to the rescue (by saving a pair of microprocessors?!) And then an Ice Age will begin. At the end of this Ice Age, a new adapted Species will emerge and that will be the beginning of a New Era....Mostly Harmless, of course, as always.
